Dojo Studios is located in Surrey Quays, London. It is primarily a project studio with a Pro Tools HD3 system. Equipped with Mackie HR824s and a 12” subwoofer, the studio is an environment ideal for producers and musicians working in electronic styles of music and sound production.
We also cater for solo artists with no prior studio experience, DJs who are dying for that perfect mix, and stand-alone producers who are strapped for cash, equipment and a little know-how! Dojo Studios also offer superb deals for the ‘one off’ producer – someone who is not sure about committing to buying all the necessary equipment to get started and just wants to cut a tune.
The studio consists of a small arsenal of synths including Access’ Virus b, Clavia Nord 3, and the critically acclaimed Native Instrument’s FM7 and Absynth. It also stocks good quality microphones, two Akai samplers – including Akai’s MPC2000XL and their recently dethroned flagship sampler S6000. Other sound sources include a Korg Triton and two Vestax PDX 2000 turntables – more than sufficient for your sampling needs
The facility is mainly for mix and post production services and is an ideal place to mix down a record after the recording process has taken place. Additionally, we are capable of recording vocals, guitars, and most other instruments on site.
